Available here are a number of tutorial pages that describe how to use your calculator to perform operations commonly needed in the chemistry laboratory. These were prepared at the University of Oregon for use in the General Chemistry Lab courses.
...view a tutorial on screen?
If you want to see a tutorial on screen, you have two options. If
the computer with which you are viewing this page has Adobe Acrobat Reader
installed, you can select (click on) the PDF
file below. If your computer does not know what to do with Acrobat (.pdf) files,
then select the GIF file below. These tutorials were originally intended to be printed,
so the on-screen resolution of the gif file may not be the best.
...print a paper copy of a tutorial?
If you want to print a paper copy of a tutorial, you may use
the postscript files below. These will give the full, intended
resolution of the page. However,
unless your browser is configured to use a PostScript viewer,
such as ghostview, you will either get gibberish if you try to view a
PostScript file, or the browser will try to download the PostScript
file. If you choose to download the file, you can dump the
received file directly to a PostScript printer using whatever
mechanism is appropriate for the system you are using.
