How do I view these molecular models?

At present, all of the molecular models available on this server are stored in Protein Data Bank file format (.pdb format). It has been assumed that you are using Netscape Navigator with the Chemscape Chime plug-in installed. (Chime is a free Netscape Navigator plug-in that permits visualization and on-screen manipulation of chemical structures.) Other combinations of software might also work, but only Netscape/Chime has been tested. For your convenience, links are provided here that will allow you to retrieve copies of Netscape Navigator and/or Chemscape Chime.

If you have everything installed and working properly, then you should see a rotating tetrahedron here. Try using your pointing device to "grab" the tetrahdron and rotate it about. If you click and hold on the image, a pop-up menu will appear that allows you to change a variety of display characteristics.
